A Stay Thimble is a protective component used in conjunction with guy clips and guy wires in structural support systems. It serves to guide and protect the guy wire, reducing wear and tear at the point of attachment to the pole or tower.
1, Stay thimble should be smooth and flat, there should be no damage to the wire rope cracks, defects, sharp edges and surface rough unequal defects. The tip of the core ring should be freely fitted, and the tip should be cut to half the depth of the groove.
2, Stay thimble surface should be hot dip galvanized, and the surface should be smooth and flat, there should be no leakage plating, zinc particles, bubbles, cracks and other defects, galvanized layer in normal application, there should be enough adhesion strength.
3, Stay thimble material can be selected A3 steel or 15, 35 high-quality carbon steel.
4, Stay thimble safety load should not be less than 32% of the minimum breaking force of the wire rope.
5, when used, the Stay thimble selection should be consistent with the specifications of the wire rope , the diameter of the shaft pin used should not be less than twice the diameter of the wire rope.
Material: Hot Dip Galvanized Steel

1. Protection Against Wear: Stay thimbles reduce friction and protect the guy wires from wear, especially at the point where they are secured to the anchor or structure.

The most common application of the stay assembly is in the electrical industry. Most electrical installations have stay wires. This makes it necessary for one to use stay rods to complete the connections to the ground.
Telecommunication structures and installations also heavily depend on the stay assembly for the same purpose. Most of them also have stay wires that run from the pole to the ground. This automatically makes it necessary for stay rods o be used.
By providing a smooth and protected pathway for the guy wires, stay thimbles reduce friction against the pole or anchor, thereby decreasing the potential for wear and tear.
The main purposes are to protect guy wires from abrasion, distribute stress more evenly, allow for easier adjustment of tensions, and increase the overall longevity of the guy wire system.
