The Pole-mounted Load Breaker Switch is a versatile switchgear designed for pole-top installation, primarily used for making and breaking load currents. It is also capable of switching off and closing specific voltage no-load transformers and no-load electrical lines. Suitable for systems with a rated voltage of 10kV and AC 50Hz, this switchgear can be equipped with either manual or electric operation mechanisms, making it an advanced and reliable choice for outdoor terminal protection on 10kV lines.
The Pole-mounted Load Breaker Switch incorporates a spring-operating mechanism, which supports both electric and manual switching operations, aligning with the operational characteristics of domestic power systems. The secondary current of the current transformer is standardized to 5A and can be configured in multiple groups with variable voltage ratios to accommodate diverse requirements for relay protection, telemetry, and measurement. The switch itself typically includes an isolation switch, and both the breaker and the isolation switch are equipped with operating locks to ensure safe and secure operation.
The installation of the Pole-mounted Load Breaker Switch should be carried out by qualified personnel following the manufacturer’s guidelines. It is designed for pole-top installation, ensuring accessibility for operation and maintenance. The installation process should consider:

Note: The LBS type on load break switch (Switch disconnector) is equipped with stored energy released by fuse strike pins. The stored energy mechanism for the opening oparation is relaased by fuse strike pins.
The trip actuator is mounted on top of the fuse contact clip.
The DIN type fuse is held in spring type contacts, secured by a tal lever. All the components are made of stainless steel, to preventcorrosion, have Jong live, and in the reset position, The trip lever is parked in an over-centre position.
Column switches are widely used in various power systems, especially in high-voltage substations and power transmission and distribution systems. Here are some application scenarios for the on-column switch:
1. Switchgear: In high-voltage substations, column switches are often used in various switchgear for controlling, switching or distributing circuits. For example, some medium voltage switchgear, isolation switch, etc., need to use the column switch to achieve control and protection.
2. Power capacitor: Power capacitor is a device used to improve the power factor of the grid, most of which also need to be controlled and protected by using on-column switches.
3. Distribution network: In the power transmission and distribution network, the column switch is also a very important control device, which can well protect the distribution network from overcurrent and short circuit damage

It’s an outdoor switchgear designed for pole-top installation, used for controlling and protecting 10kV AC power systems by making and breaking load currents.
The maximum operating temperature is +75°C, and the minimum is -45°C.
Common issues may include mechanical failures, corrosion, or environmental damage. Regular inspections and maintenance can help prevent these.
