Miniature circuit breaker is mainly used for protection against overload and short circuit under the AC 50Hz/60Hz, reted voltage 230V/400V and rated current from 1A to 63A/125A. It also can be used for non-frequent on-and-off switch operation under normal circumstance.

1) The combination of circuit breaker and circuit breaker should consider the instantaneous trip value of the upper circuit breaker, which should be greater than the maximum expected short circuit current at the lower circuit breaker outlet. If the impedance value of the circuit element is small when the circuit breaker is short circuited at the two stage circuit breaker, the short circuit current value is not much different, then the upper circuit breaker can choose the trip device with short delay.
The circuit breaker is a commonly used electrical component its main purpose is to provide overload and short circuit protection of the circuit. When the circuit is abnormal, such as overload or short circuit, circuit breaker can automatically cut off the power supply, to prevent the occurrence of fire or electric shock and other dangerous situations. This kind of device is widely used in home, office, factory and other civil places, is an important part of low-voltage power distribution system.

In the design of civil buildings, low-voltage circuit breakers are mainly used for the protection and operation of the overload, short circuit, overcurrent, voltage loss, undervoltage, grounding, leakage, automatic switching of dual power supplies and the infrequent starting of the motor. The selection principle in addition to observing the basic principles such as the use of low-voltage electrical equipment environmental characteristics (see industrial and civil distribution design manual) should also consider the following conditions:
1) The rated voltage of the circuit breaker should not be less than the rated voltage of the line;
2) The rated current of the circuit breaker and the rated current of the overcurrent release device are not less than the calculated current of the line;
3) The rated short-circuit breaking capacity of the circuit breaker is not less than the maximum short-circuit current in the line;
4) The selective distribution circuit breaker needs to consider the short-delay short-circuit on-off ability and the delay protection level;
5) The rated voltage of the circuit breaker undervoltage release is equal to the rated voltage of the line;
6) When used for motor protection, the circuit breaker should be selected to consider the starting current of the motor and make it not operate within the starting time; See Industrial and Civil Distribution Design Manual for design calculations.
7) The selection of circuit breakers should also consider the selective combination of circuit breakers and circuit breakers and circuit breakers and fuses.
They can be used in a wide range of environments, including indoor and outdoor, provided the temperature is between -30°C to +70°C, humidity levels do not promote condensation or corrosion, and the altitude does not exceed 2000 meters.
Miniature circuit breakers are not designed for frequent on-and-off operations under normal circumstances. They are primarily for protection against overload and short circuits.
