  • 1. What are the main categories of HV load switches?

    High-voltage load switch
There are mainly 6 kinds of high-voltage load switches.

① Solid gas production high-pressure load switch: The use of the energy of the arc itself to break the arc chamber gas production material to blow out the arc, its structure is relatively simple, suitable for 35 kV and below products.

② Pressure type high voltage load switch: The use of piston pressure during the breaking process to blow out the arc, its structure is also relatively simple, suitable for 35 kV and below products.

③ Compressed air type high-voltage load switch: the use of compressed air to blow out the arc, can break the larger current, its structure is more complex, suitable for 60 kV and above products.

④SF6 type high-voltage load switch: the use of SF6 gas arc extinguishing, its breaking current is large, breaking capacitor current performance is good, but the structure is more complex, suitable for 35 kV and above products. [1]

⑤ Oil-immersed high-voltage load switch: the use of arc itself energy to decompose the oil around the arc gasification and cool off the arc, its structure is relatively simple, but the weight is large, suitable for 35 kV and below outdoor products.
Vacuum type high voltage load switch: the use of vacuum medium arc extinguishing, long electrical life, relatively high price, suitable for 220 kV and below products.

  • 2. How do these load switches contribute to electrical system safety?

They provide overload and short circuit protection, preventing damage to equipment and ensuring the safety of the electrical system.

  • 3. How do these load switches differ from traditional high-voltage switches?

The FN12 and FNR12 are designed with a compact structure and lightweight, which simplifies installation and reduces physical strain, while also providing frequent operation without loss of performance.
